As you can see, I chose a dark theme that takes on a more minimalist design approach compared to the others I saw. Minimalist designs have always caught my eye and have always gravitated to. The uncluttered look with the focus on content is most important to me. I chose a mint green accent color, and this was on purpose. First off, it's just a pleasing color to me. The color reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, which is fire. And because money is green, and who doesn't love money. I am also a huge proponent of dark-themed apps and websites. Websites that utilize many bright colors can be incredibly annoying to view at night. I also prefer the aesthetic dark colors with bright accents; it gives the reader more direction when viewing the website. Though it might not matter too much for a mainly text-based blog, having whatever you want to be showcased should be the brightest thing on-screen. Week 10 Part A: Researching Email Marketing

The amount of emails that should be sent depend on multiple factors. If you are trying to gain new customers, sending out large targeted email blasts with more frequency will get the most amount of people aware of your product/service. However if you are sending out emails to returning customers, there are a few important things to come in mind. Email services will automatically block certain addresses that spam too much, so it’s important not to overhear your current customers email client. Customers also don’t like too much email being sent in, even if they have deals or whatnot. An excessive amount of special deals and unwanted email content will make your product/service seem cheap. Week 9 Part A: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts & Webinars

Personal touch can add a sense of relatability to the advertising. Being able to envision yourself using certain products, or showing some of the various situations that the product may aid is important. Working with relatable content can be difficult because you have to make it seem believable, even though it is clearly not a fully real situation. These relatable situations are often exaggerated and for good reason. For instance, a car manufacturer might display a family exploring the country via automobile, and show the pros of family bonding during the trip. While in reality, we all know that road trips can be very boring, long, and sometimes stressful. Sometimes a relatable ad can come off as so exaggerated or unrealistic that it is impossible to envision yourself in that situation.
